Forma Design Co. was founded by Rhonwen Grace, an Architectural Technician with a distinctive eye for design, function, and aesthetics. With over a decade of creative experience, Rhonwen approaches every project with precision and artistry—crafting spaces that balance architectural integrity with natural harmony.

Her design journey began in 2012 with studies in Visual Arts at Auckland University of Technology, where she developed a strong foundation in composition, spatial awareness, and creative expression. Over the years, Rhonwen has expanded her practice across multiple disciplines, showcasing her work in exhibitions and earning national recognition in art competitions.

Following her family’s relocation to the Bay of Islands, Rhonwen led the extensive redesign and renovation of their 1920s villa—an immersive, hands-on project that deepened her passion for architecture, interiors, and landscape design.

Since earning a Diploma in Architectural Technology, Rhonwen has spent the past five years working under a respected local Architectural Designer, refining her technical expertise and practical understanding of design. Now based in Waipū, she continues to expand her skills through formal studies in Horticulture and Landscape Design, enriching her ability to create cohesive, site-responsive outdoor environments.
